EIMP Identity Service

The EIMP Identity Service enables the Convenient Checkout Gateway (CCG) to retrieve customer information or receive updates on customers.

Overview​

The EIMP Identity Service supports two primary workflows:

  1. HCP Identity Service API
    The HCP Identity Service API is used to obtain an authoritative ("golden") person record before creating or enriching a local customer or enterprise customer. The golden record is a synthesized view built from one or more raw Identity User payloads fetched via different lookup keys, such as enterpriseId, HSID, or customer identifier search.

  2. HCP Data Catalog Entity Change Topic
    The HCP Data Catalog Entity Change Topic allows the CCG EIMP Entity Change Kafka Consumer to deserialize events from the configured Kafka topic, classify the event type, and perform the corresponding customer lifecycle actions. Processing outcomes are recorded in Postgres.
