📋 What Are We Doing?
We updated documentation review ownership rules so the correct teams are automatically requested for review in pull requests.
This update applies to key docs areas:
- Business docs -> Business team owner
- Testing docs -> Testing team owner
- High-level designs -> Architect owner
💡 Why Are We Doing This?
| Reason | Detail |
|---|---|
| Right reviewer assignment | Pull requests should always route to the right person or team for faster and more accurate review decisions. |
| Effective immediately | The updated ownership takes effect now so new pull requests immediately follow the correct review path. |
| Open for change | Ownership mapping remains flexible and can be updated as team responsibilities evolve. |
✅ What You Need To Do
- Continue raising docs PRs as usual
- Verify the requested reviewers in PRs are correct for the changed docs area
- Raise ownership updates through the normal PR process if adjustments are needed
